How can I submit my meter reading?

Read your energy meter

Most meters are read remotely by Vaanster, where the meter reading is done digitally. However, there are instances when residents are asked to provide a meter reading. For example, when you move to or from a property with an energy system from Vaanster, you'll be asked to provide the meter reading on the date of the move and/or key handover.

Digital Meter Reading:

During a move, we always request that you read and submit the current meter reading yourself. For subsequent periods, if Vaanster reads the meter remotely, residents do not need to provide a meter reading. The meter reading will be published on the personal account by Vaanster, which takes about two months. Alternatively, you can also manually read and add the meter reading to your personal account. If Vaanster cannot read your energy meter digitally, an estimate will be made of your meter reading. This may occur if the Wi-Fi, for example, was not working at the time of reading.

Manual Meter Reading:

If the meter reading is not digitally read, it is manually recorded. This means the meter reading is read from the energy meter and must be submitted to Vaanster via the resident's personal page. Click here to go to your personal account.
