What is an IWP system?

IWP stands for individual heat pump. With an IWP energy system, each home has its own heat pump. A water-water heat pump extracts energy from the ground and is pumped through the heat pump to your home. The underfloor heating and cooling system heats and cools your home.

What is an LWP system?

LWP stands for air-water heat pump and is variant of the IWP energy system. With an LWP energy system, each home has its own heat pump. An air-water heat pump extracts energy from the outside air that is used to heat and cool a home. An air-water heat pump has an outdoor unit that is usually mounted on the roof of a home or apartment complex and an indoor unit. The indoor unit refers to the actual heat pump.

What is a delivery system?

A delivery set (HIU) is a component of the energy system in your home, containing at least a heat exchanger. The HIU facilitates the transfer of energy between the central system and the system within the home.

HIUs come in various types and sizes. Typically, the HIU is installed in the meter cupboard or technical room of a residence. From the HIU, pipes extend to, for example, underfloor heating or a hot water tap.

The HIU is owned by Vaanster and is therefore maintained by Vaanster.

What is a TE-booster?

A TE-booster is a tap water regulator that heats tap water. The warm water entering the home through pipes is approximately 50 degrees Celsius. The TE-booster can further heat this warm water to about 75 degrees Celsius.

The water is permanently thermally disinfected by the TE-booster. A TE-booster is used in homes connected to an EQw energy system.

The TE-booster is owned by Vaanster and is therefore maintained by Vaanster.

What is a delivery system?

A delivery system is the system that delivers energy, heat, or cold to the residence. Underfloor heating is the most common delivery system in the apartment complexes managed and operated by Vaanster. Another example of a delivery system is an electric radiator.

What is an indoor installation?

A indoor installation is the part of the system installed within your home. The indoor installation is not owned by Vaanster but by the owner of the residence. In the case of a rental property, the landlord is the owner of the residence.
